EHR Integration Support
Cortexa enables efficient, one-click delivery of generated clinical notes to most web-based EHR systems via our browser extension. This feature is available to both individual users and teams, and does not require any custom development.
For customers seeking more advanced workflow connectivity, Cortexa may offer native or customized EHR integration, subject to technical and commercial evaluation.
Eligibility
Native or customized EHR integration is typically available to:
Enterprise Plan customers
Teams with 20 or more provider licenses
Healthcare organizations with defined deployment, security, or workflow requirements
Smaller teams may also be considered if the requested EHR offers an open, supported API and the integration can be broadly utilized by multiple customers.
Evaluation Criteria
All integration requests are subject to technical and commercial evaluation, including:
Availability of supported APIs, FHIR resources, or other integration methods
Support for the required workflow and clinical note write-back
Customer authorization and EHR administrative access
Approval requirements from the EHR vendor, healthcare organization, IT department, or security team
Data privacy, security, and compliance requirements
Integration complexity, development timeline, and ongoing maintenance cost
Potential for the integration to be reused across other customers or organizations
Fees and Delivery
Some integration projects may require:
A one-time implementation fee
EHR vendor or third-party interface fees
Custom development and maintenance fees
Additional security, deployment, or technical support fees
Final scope, pricing, and delivery timelines will be confirmed after technical evaluation.
Important Notice
Meeting the provider-license threshold or purchasing an Enterprise Plan entitles the customer to request an integration assessment; however, this does not guarantee that a specific EHR integration can be completed or provided without additional cost.
Integration availability depends on the EHR’s technical capabilities, customer authorization, vendor policies, security requirements, and project complexity.
For EHR systems that do not currently support native integration, customers can continue using the Cortexa browser extension for one-click clinical note delivery.
