Recording and transcript storage

How long are my recordings stored?

Audio recordings are stored only while CortexaNote processes the conversation and generates your transcript. Once processing is complete, CortexaNote deletes the audio recording and no longer retains it.

Is it possible to store a transcript?

Transcripts, generated notes, and patient instructions remain in your CortexaNote account until you choose to delete them. This allows you to return to previous visits to review or manage your documentation. When you delete a visit, CortexaNote permanently removes its associated transcript and generated documentation, and you cannot recover them.

Who has access to my data?

Access to your data is strictly limited to you and any individuals you expressly authorize through your CortexaNote account. If necessary, securely transfer your data to your clinic's management system for appropriate storage, in accordance with your organization's policies.

How is my data used and stored?

Does CortexaNote sell my data?

No. CortexaNote does not sell patient or clinician data. Protecting the privacy and confidentiality of your information remains a core priority.

Is my data stored overseas?

No. CortexaNote data is stored on servers located in the United States.
