CortexaNote is an AI-powered medical documentation tool for clinicians and other healthcare professionals. It generates clinical notes from conversations, reducing the time required for manual documentation and enabling clinicians to remain engaged during patient appointments.

How does it work?

CortexaNote captures conversations during patient visits, either with the CortexaNote Recorder—a portable device that clips on—or by recording directly from your device’s microphone. After recording, the audio syncs with the CortexaNote app, which transcribes the conversation, filters out nonessential information, and generates structured clinical notes. You can review and share these notes immediately after the visit, simplifying your workflow without needing a dedicated recorder.

What else can CortexaNote do?

CortexaNote offers features that empower clinicians to personalize their documentation according to their preferences:

  • Custom templates: Choose or create templates that structure your notes.

  • Patient instructions: Generate clear instructions for patients.

  • Context: Add information that wasn't spoken aloud during the visit.

  • Personalization: Incorporate preferred terminology, language, and consent statements, and adjust the level of detail in your notes.

  • Web and mobile access: Record, manage, and review patient visits through the web platform or mobile app.

  • EHR integrations: Transfer notes directly to electronic health record systems using the CortexaNote browser extension.

Does CortexaNote replace clinical judgment?

No. CortexaNote serves as a documentation tool and does not provide medical advice or replace professional judgment. Clinicians should review all generated notes before use or distribution.
