Linking sessions to patients helps keep related visits organized and makes it easier to reference previous sessions when reviewing a patient’s history.
Automatically include past sessions
CortexaNote can automatically include past sessions linked to the same patient.
To enable this:
Navigate to Settings > Data management.
Enable Automatically include past sessions.
When this setting is enabled, CortexaNote can use relevant past sessions from the linked patient to provide additional context.
How do I link a session to a patient?
To link a session to a patient:
Open the session you want to link.
Select the patient icon next to the session name.
Search for the patient you want to link.
Select the patient.
Select Save changes.
Creating a new patient
If the patient has not been added before, search for their name and select Create Patient.
After selecting or creating the patient, you can adjust how the patient is identified and add any relevant background information.
Select Save Changes when you are finished.
