CortexaNote generates clinical notes from your completed session using the transcript, selected template, personalization settings, and any added context. Generated notes are intended to support your documentation workflow and should always be reviewed before being added to a medical record or used for care.
Before generating notes
Make sure:
The session recording has finished processing.
The transcript is available.
Your desired template is selected.
Any relevant context has been added.
Your personalization settings are correct.
Reviewing these details before generating notes can help improve the quality and accuracy of your output.
Review the transcript
Review the transcript for any important details before generating notes. Not every mistake needs to be corrected, but all key information should be captured correctly.
If any important information is missing from the transcript, add it into context before generating notes.
Add context
Context allows you to include information that was not spoken aloud during the session. CortexaNote uses context alongside the transcript when generating notes.

Selecting a template
Templates control how your notes are structured. A template must be selected in order to generate your notes.
Generating notes
Open your completed session.
Review your transcript.
Add any needed context.
Select the template you want to use.
Select Generate.
Your notes will be generated with the transcript, template, personalization settings, and context.
Reviewing and editing notes
After your notes are generated, review them carefully. You can edit notes directly from the text box before using them. CortexaNote supports documentation, but does not replace your review. You're responsible for correcting and approving the final notes before they are added to your patient's medical record.
Regenerating notes
You can regenerate notes if you want CortexaNote to create a new version. Make sure you save any important edits elsewhere if you wish to keep those changes.
