Changing your password
To change your password, sign out of your account and follow the password reset instructions below.
If you created your account using Google or Apple, manage your password directly through that provider.
Forgot your password?
On the web:
Enter your email address on the login page.
When the password field appears, select Forgot your password?
Enter the email address associated with your account.
Select Send reset instructions.
Open your inbox and look for an email titled Reset your password.
Open the email and select Reset password.
Enter your new password, then log in with it.
In the mobile app:
On the login screen, select Forgot Password?
Enter the email address associated with your account.
Open your inbox and look for an email titled Sign in to Cortexa AI, Inc.
Enter your new password and the six-digit code provided in the email.
Select Save, then log in using your new password.
If you cannot find the email, check your spam or junk folder. If it does not arrive within 15 minutes, confirm that you entered the correct email address and try again.
Multi-factor authentication
Multi-factor authentication, also known as MFA, adds an extra layer of security to your CortexaNote account. After MFA is enabled, you will need to enter a code from your authentication app when signing in.
Enabling MFA
Navigate to Settings > Account.
Scroll down to Login details.
Select Enable MFA.
Scan the QR code in an authentication app or add it manually using the provided key.
Once added, enter the generated six-digit code.
Select Verify and enable.
Resetting MFA
Navigate to Settings > Account.
Scroll down to Login details.
Select Reset MFA.
Select Set up replacement.
Scan the QR code in an authentication app, or add it manually using the provided key.
Once added, enter the generated six-digit code.
Select Verify and enable.
