Note Output Issues

If your generated notes are incomplete or inaccurate, follow the steps below to identify and resolve the issue:

Step 1: Check the recording duration

Check the duration of your recording. If the recording is too short, CortexaNote may not have enough information to generate complete notes.

Step 2: Review the transcript

Check to make sure your transcript was captured accurately. If it is inaccurate or missing information, follow our Transcript Troubleshooting before continuing.

Step 3: Check your template

Make sure your template is properly configured. An incorrectly configured template may affect the structure and level of detail of your notes.

Step 4: Regenerate your notes

If there is nothing wrong with your recording, transcript, or template, select the three-dot menu (...) and then Regenerate to get an updated version of your notes.

Step 5: Contact support

Reach out to support with the details, screenshots, and any troubleshooting steps you have already tried here.

Transcript Issues

Transcript issues may result in a blank, incomplete, or inaccurate transcript. Open the Transcript tab and review its contents.

  • If nothing was transcribed, start another recording to troubleshoot the problem.

  • If the new transcript is accurate, the issue may have been isolated to the original session.

Confirm audio detection

  • Start a new session to test your microphone.

  • If sound was successfully captured, the problem may have been specific to the original session.

  • If no audio is captured, check your device's audio-input setting and confirm that the correct microphone is selected.

Lost audio cannot be retrieved. Confirm that CortexaNote detects audio before beginning future sessions.
